We can never choose our family,because whether we like it or not,we are born into it and we are connected to our relatives or life,with no way of separating us other than leaving,but the friends are those persons we can choose,those who resemble us,who have similar interests like us and whom we can allow to enter our lives or not,because we can wait and see what kind of person they are,but we should love both our friends and family equally as friends themselves can become like a second family for an individual and that family,we chose.
