1. Advertising is a challenging aspect of market's outgoings. Consumers learn about new products and services available to them, but they have a rational response to advertising when they look at the
features of a product or service. Sometimes,
the alternative brands are extremely similar and in some cases
almost identical. Most consumers don't really care which one
they buy and could substitute easily if their brand ceased
to exist. In consequence, I do not believe that advertising influences consumers' cardinality among choices.
2. Even though I am not a vegetarian, my least favorite advertisment was Oro Toro's ad, which contained the text "Vegetarians, even my food eats better than you do". I found this message rather offensive and they have definitely lost some costumers or, at least, respect.
