More and more people nowadays struggle with money. They can barely afford to eat a proper meal.
The children spent more than half of their entire day in school, some of them not having anything to eat, so school lunches should be required. Think about children, students, learning and working for briefly eight hours without any source of energy other than water. They need food to think better, to feel better and, obviously, to stay healthy.
There are shops, but, of course, since they don't have the resources to pack food from home, they don't have the money to buy food. Or, they have forgotten the money/food at home. They just cannot starve for the entire day.
With all of those arguments, please make school lunches mandatory.
