I think supermarkets are more usefull than small specialized shops because we have more oportunities there , more choices to made.
I a supermarket you can find literally anything and if you go to a little shop you cant find everything , only the things it is open for , like a tool shop where you can get only tools and not food. In my opinion supermarkets give us lots of reasons to go to them and found them , and the biggest reason is that you'll find everything you need in the same place.
