I (jump) over the wall,(run)..... down to the river and (leap)...... into the water. I (grab)....... the puppy and (swim).......back to safety. My friends,who (stand)...... on the bridge ,(clap)..... I was a hero!

Then I noticed that they threw the puppy over the bridge and it fell into the river. They ran off laughing. I jumped over the wall, ran down the river and leapt into the water. I grabbed the puppy and swam back to safety. My friends, who were standing on the bridge, clapped. I was a hero!
